Laurie Beebe Lewis is widely recognized for her connection to the legacy of The Mamas & The Papas, having performed as “Mama” for seven years under the direction of the group’s founder, John Phillips. Today, she continues to bring this iconic music to life with authenticity, warmth, and a deep respect for the original sound. Inductee for the California Music Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Laurie’s musical career also includes touring with The Buckinghams and performing alongside legendary artist such as The Turtles, Gary Lewis & The Playboys, and The Grass Roots, further establishing her as a seasoned and respected performer of classic American music.

Backed by her band, The Electric Underground, Laurie delivers a dynamic live show celebrating the timeless hits of The Mamas & The Papas, along with beloved songs from the 1960s era. Audiences can expect music from artists such as Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, Janis Joplin, and other defining voices of the decade.

This show is designed to be flexible for a variety of venues and events, with performance lengths ranging from 60 to 120 minutes, and extended sets available. Special song requests may also be accommodated with advance notice.

Laurie Beebe Lewis sings a tribute to the Buckinghams in a pictorial montage of the 1985 Happy Together Tour from her personal photo collection. The music track was recorded by The Queen Divas of the Universe~Laurie Beebe Lewis on lead vocals and keyboards, Roni Lee Guitar, Shaaron Schuemaker Bass. The original arrangement of this song is taken from The Buckinghams when Laurie Beebe (Lewis) sang with them from 1982-1986 and was featured on the 1985 Happy Together Tour.
