A Memorable Night with Kris Kristofferson

One of Steve’s greatest career highlights came when he and his band were selected to provide the musical entertainment for a Los Angeles awards ceremony honoring Kris Kristofferson.

Kristofferson joined Steve and the band onstage to perform several of his legendary songs. Following the performance, he praised Steve’s remarkable resemblance to Johnny Cash’s sound and later signed one of Steve’s guitars. That instrument remains a treasured reminder of an unforgettable evening and is still occasionally used during Steve’s performances.
